Kathy Mahloch, CHIME Chair, is the Director of Music Ministry at Crawford Street United Methodist Church in Vicksburg, MS.
where she directs a nine choir program including choral and handbell choirs.
Her education includes a BME from the University of Nebraska,
post-graduate studies at the University of Kansas
and a MME from Mississippi State University.
Prior to her present position, Kathy served as a volunteer handbell director,
organizing the current program of five handbell choirs.
She has been involved in handbell ministry for over 25 years.
She has served as AGEHR Area VI Mississippi Chair,
hosted 2 Area VI Director’s Seminars,
and has been on the faculty at several Area VI Festivals and Director’s Seminars.
Kathy has served as treasurer of the Mississippi Chapter of The Fellowship of United Methodists in Music and Worship Arts,
Vice President of the Vicksburg Community Concert Association
and is currently on the board of the Vicksburg International Chamber Music Festival.
